5. Lawful grounds for processing
Under the PDPA we process personal data only for specific, lawful purposes, based on:
- Performance of a contract: providing the App and features you use, including purchases and accounts
- Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, crash reporting, analytics and improving our Apps, where these do not override your rights
- Consent: personalised advertising, tracking permissions and any processing of a child's data, which you can withdraw at any time
- Legal obligation: meeting tax, accounting and regulatory requirements
Where users outside Tanzania are protected by other laws, such as the GDPR in Europe or COPPA in the United States, we apply those requirements as they relate to those users.
6. Player accounts and leaderboards
- Where an App offers online leaderboards or multiplayer features, your display name, avatar, scores and achievements may be visible to other players. Do not use your real name or personal details as a display name.
- Accounts may use Google Play Games Services, Apple Game Center or our own sign-in. Platform sign-in is also governed by Google's and Apple's privacy policies.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, as described in Section 13.
7. In-app purchases
- Purchases are processed by Google or Apple under their terms. We receive confirmation of the purchase, the product bought and the transaction ID, but not your payment details.
- Refund requests are handled by Google Play or the App Store according to their policies.
- Virtual currency and virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. Advertising, analytics and tracking
Some Apps include advertising, analytics or crash reporting tools provided by third parties, such as Google AdMob and Google Firebase. These partners may collect device and usage information, including advertising identifiers, to show ads, measure performance and help us understand App usage. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
- Apple: where required, we ask for permission through App Tracking Transparency before tracking you across apps and websites owned by other companies. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID and turn off ad personalisation in your device settings.
- Declining tracking or personalised ads does not remove all ads. Ads may still appear but will be less relevant.
9. Children's privacy
Under the PDPA a child is a person under 18 years. Personal data of a child may only be processed with the consent of a parent or guardian.
9.1 Apps designed for children
Where an App is designed for children, including Apps in the Google Play Families programme or the Apple Kids category:
- We do not show personalised or behavioural advertising, and we do not track children across other apps or websites
- We use only advertising and analytics tools certified for use in family apps
- We collect the minimum data needed to run the App and do not knowingly collect a child's name, contact details or precise location
- Purchases, external links and account features are placed behind a parental gate
- We follow the Google Play Families Policy, the Apple App Store Kids category rules and, where applicable, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
9.2 Apps for a general audience
Apps not designed for children are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in those Apps without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Not a gambling product
Our Apps are games of entertainment. They do not offer real-money betting, wagering, lotteries or prizes of monetary value, and they are not gaming or gambling activities within the meaning of the Gaming Act (Cap. 41) of Tanzania. Any chance-based rewards use virtual items only.
11. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers that host, analyse, secure or support the Apps, under contracts that limit how they use data
- Advertising and analytics partners, where an App uses them, subject to your choices, the law and platform policies
- Platform providers such as Google and Apple, for distribution, purchases, sign-in, leaderboards and crash reports
- Authorities and professional advisers, where required by law, legal process or to protect rights, safety and security
- A successor entity, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets
12. Retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy. Crash logs and diagnostics are kept for short operational periods. Account and gameplay data are kept while your account is active and deleted after you request deletion, unless we must keep certain records by law. Support messages may be kept longer to help resolve future issues.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify the PDPC and affected persons as required by the PDPA.
13. Your rights and account deletion
Under the PDPA you have the right to be informed, access your personal data, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and withdraw consent. You can also:
- Change App permissions in your device settings
- Manage advertising and tracking preferences as described in Section 8
- Uninstall the App to stop future collection from that installation
To delete your account or data: use the delete account option inside the App where available, or email Display Email with the subject "Data deletion request", the App name and your player ID or account email. We will confirm your request and delete your account and associated data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

14. International transfers
We are based in Tanzania, and some of our service providers, including advertising, analytics and cloud providers, process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred outside Tanzania, we do so in accordance with the PDPA, including by ensuring an adequate level of protection and obtaining any transfer permit required from the PDPC.
15. Third-party links and services
Apps may link to or include third-party websites, SDKs and services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
16. Changes to this Policy
